NEEDLES
The needle like teeth of the grey nurse shark spill out from their bottom jaw. They are slightly tilted back and are made for piercing flesh. The shape of the teeth enables the shark to hold onto the squid and fish they prey upon.
Despite their aggressive appearance, grey nurse sharks are a pleasure to dive with and will not harm you, unless they are provoked. They are curious creatures often approaching you within centimetres, in order to investigate the strange looking creatures swimming around their home.
