PINNACLE
The great white shark is the result of 400,000,000 years of evolution. Sharks have patrolled the earth’s water for longer than trees have grown on the land. They are capable of traveling massive distances such from California to Hawaii and South Africa to Australia.
When great white sharks are young, they feed on smaller prey, like fish and rays. As they grow larger, they feed more exclusively on marine mammals, such as sea lions, seals and small whales. They rely on stealth and surprise to catch their prey. 300 jagged teeth and an immense bit force make it a incredibly efficient predator. The Great white shark is truly the pinnacle of evolution.
